Admission Procedure

To apply for admission, obtain an application form and prospectus from SVS by post, or from our website (www.svsindia.org), Upload in the website (under Admission Page) the filled-in application form along with supporting documents (see below the list of supporting documents) and demand draft for Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Sathya Veda Seminary, payable at Tirumala.

ADMISSION DEADLINE

Candidates who seek admission for the first intake may appear the interviews held at SVS at the last week of May (1st session) and in the 1st week of June (Final session). SVS requires entrance examinations and a personal interview with all applicants before deciding on admission. The entrance examination will be conducted at the premises of the seminary. 

The second intake of the academic year will be commenced on the 3rd week of September. Candidates seek admission for the same must submit the duly filled applications on or before July 30. SVS requires entrance examinations and a personal interview with all applicants before deciding on admission.     

Qualifying Exams:

The Applicants who have graduated from non-ATA institutions and those from ATA institutions but with a minimum grade will have to take Qualifying Examinations which will be conducted in the 2nd week of June at SVS.

CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION

Those who are offered a place at SVS must pay the registration fee (refer prospectus) at the time of admission. Failure to pay the registration fee will result in cancellation of admission, and the place will promptly be given to the next in line.

Registration, orientation and academic sessions for new students will be conducted from the 1st week of June.

ACCREDITATION OF ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

 

SVS will accept only those theological degrees that are from colleges or seminaries accredited by the Asia Theological Association, or other institutions recognized by ATA. In other cases applicants may be required to take additional Qualifying examinations.

LIST OF SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

 

Duly attested copies of all academic certificates and mark statements. Without them, your application will not be processed.

The Reference Forms, duly filled by the persons you mentioned in your application, sealed in the envelope provided for the purpose (These must not include parents, family members or any other close relatives). Make sure that they reach the office on time.
 

Your Testimony and call for ministry in your own words. This should include the following aspects - conversion experience, call for ministry, previous ministry experience and how you feel the training would help to fulfill your call.

 

Copies of Ministry Experience Certificate (if any).

 

Two copies of your recent passport size photographs one pasted to the application and the other clipped to the form.

 

Attested Xerox copy of your Birth Certificate.

 

Attested copy of proof of identity to prove your citizenship (Electoral Identity Card / Ration Card / Passport / any other).

 

The Medical Certificate of Physical Fitness in the prescribed form enclosed in the prospectus along with copies of medical records. Non-disclosure of history of any past illnesses and medications will lead to cancellation of admission.

 

The Sponsorship Form duly filled and signed with the official seal of the sponsoring individual or organization.

 

A Demand Draft (non-refundable) towards the application - processing fee of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of Sathya Veda Seminary payable at Federal Bank Kattakada.

Intakes

There are two intakes in an academic year, first falls in June and the other is on the 3rd week of September.
