MASTER OF DIVINITY (M.Div)
​
Master of Divinity program is a comprehensive post-graduate theological program that is designed to prepare students for leadership, teaching and full-time service in the churches, or para-church organizations or NGOs. The curriculum is designed to instruct students in the study of theology in its wider sense, so that they may grow in the knowledge of God, discover and develop their God-given gifts and become persons with passion and desire to influence the community and transform them through various projects and activities.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
​
The entry requirement for the three-year Master of Divinity degree program is successful completion of a university undergraduate degree [Bachelor degree in Arts, Science, and Commerce] or equivalent. Those who have appeared for the Final BA/BSc/BCom degree examination and are awaiting their results will be admitted provisionally until the end of the first semester. Once the duly passed certificates are produced the admission will be confirmed.

ATA-accredited Bachelor of Theology [B.Th] degree is equivalent to a University undergraduate degree. However, advanced credit up to 10 courses towards the Master of Divinity degree can be granted only to those who have secured a B grade average or above in their B.Th. degree program.
​
Mature candidates above twenty-five years with a basic qualification of 10th and five years of ministry experience are qualified to join this program.

Sathya Veda Seminary aims to provide high quality academic and spiritual education. SVS offers M.Div, B.Th and Dip.Th programmes accredited by Asia Theological Association(ATA). All these programmes are taught in English. There is also C.Th / CPT programme offered in Hindi and English.


SCOPE

To develop students with leadership and administrative skills and equip them to become better and greater leaders who are committed and competent in serving modern society.
To train and prepare the students to become Biblical Scholars, who are competent to teach the Bible and other subjects in a highly academic environment with confidence and capability.
The program also aims to prepare students to take up ministerial positions in the church such as Pastor, youth worker, a social worker in the NGOs, teachers in schools, music director, organist, Bible translator, field workers in different projects etc.
BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY (B.Th.)

Bachelor of Theology is a three-year graduate-level admission degree for young people who have reached the age of 18 and have finished the 12th grade. They should be deeply committed to serving people irrespective of race, culture, or creed.

The program provides an ideal grounding on the way to active Christian ministry for students who aspire to take up ministerial positions of Pastor, youth worker, social worker, teachers in schools, worship leader, community worker and much more.

DIPLOMA IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY (Dip.CM)
The entrance requirement for the three years Bachelor of Theology degree programme is successful completion of 12 years of schooling or equivalent. Those who have appeared for the HSC/+2 and are awaiting their results will be admitted provisionally until the end of the first semester. Once the duly passed certificate is produced the admission will be confirmed

DIPLOMA IN THEOLOGY (Dip.Th)
​
It is a two-year course for those who pass matriculation or equivalent (10th/SSLC pass). The Candidates must have completed 18 years and should have a deep commitment to Christian Ministry.
DIPLOMA ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
​
The entry requirement into the two-year Diploma in Theology programme is successful completion of 10 years of schooling or equivalent. Those who have appeared for the SSC/SSLC and are awaiting their results will be admitted provisionally until the end of the first semester. Mature candidates who do not meet the required entry qualification, but are at least 22 years of age, will be admitted into the programme based on a qualifying exam.
SCOPE

The program provides an ideal grounding for students who aspire to take up ministerial positions of a pastor, church youth worker, social worker in a church-related agency, a teacher in elementary mission schools, worship leader, field missionary and much more.

EQUIVALENCY
​
The entrance requirement into the two-year Diploma in Theology programme is successful completion of 10 years of schooling or equivalent. Those who have appeared for the SSC/SSLC and are awaiting their results will be admitted provisionally until the end of the first semester.
Mature candidates who do not meet the required entrance qualification, but are at least 22 years of age, will be admitted into the programme on the basis of a qualifying exam set at the 10th standard level [three courses].
The ATA-accredited two-year Diploma in Theology is an equivalent of the HSC/+2. Applicants who have completed successfully a two-year programme that has an entrance requirement of successful completion of 10 years of schooling [SSC], but is not ATA-accredited, must appear for and successfully pass a qualifying examination consisting of three papers for Dip.Th in Biblical Studies, Theology and Christian Ministry. However, such applicants will not be granted any advanced credit toward the B.Th degree.Mature candidates who do not meet the required entrance qualification, but are at least 25 years of age, will be admitted into the programme on the basis of a qualifying exam set at the 12th standard level [three courses].
COMMUNITY WORKER TRAINING
​
It’s a one-year training in Hindi and English to cater the vast need of community workers in Hindi speaking locations without neglecting non-Hindi speaking areas. The training is divided into three semesters: three months of onsite training and one month of field training in each semester.

SCOPE
​
The course aims to equip the students to with foundations of community worker to become a catalyst of change in the community. Equipped with various skill in community worker, the graduate will become competent people to help the people to progress in various areas of life.

SCOPEENTRY REQUIREMENT
​
There is no basic qualification for the program. A deep commitment to help and develop others is very essential along with an aptitude to learn new things. There will be a formal interview to check the aptitude of the candidate prior to the admission.
Department of Secular Education & Professional Studies
Along with theological education, Sathya Veda Seminary also enrolls students in secular academic programs, recognizing the practical challenges faced in India today. Recognized secular qualifications helps our students sustain themselves, remain in their mission fields with dignity, and confidently interact with authorities and communities.

School-Level education (10th & 12th)
Students who have not completed their schooling up to the 12th standard are supported to continue their education through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), a board recognized by the Government of India. This program enables students to complete their 10th and 12th standard education alongside their theological training, ensuring academic continuity while preparing for future responsibilities.

College-Level Degree Education
Students who have successfully completed their 12th standard are encouraged to pursue undergraduate degree programs through IGNOU, a nationally recognized open university. This provision for dual studies both theological and secular has been a great blessing, particularly during the early stages of ministry, as it allows students to faithfully follow their spiritual calling while also gaining qualifications for practical livelihood and long-term sustainability.

Department of Computer Education and Digital Skills
Sathya Veda Seminary conducts comprehensive computer training for all students. The training was specially designed to build strong computer awareness among all students, ensuring they are equipped with essential digital skills useful for academics, ministry, and daily life. Well-planned weekly classes were arranged for each batch, and students were given access to an excellent computer lab facility. The Seminary followed the structured syllabus provided by C-DIT (an autonomous body under the Department of Electronics & IT, Government of Kerala), with each batch learning according to the appropriate course level.

IT Applications in Daily Life (ADL) – 1 Year
Offered to CPT/CTh students, this course builds a foundation in computer usage. Students learn basic computer skills, document preparation, presentation creation, and introductory Excel functions using Microsoft Office, helping them confidently use technology in their studies and personal work.

Certificate in Data Entry and Console Operation (CDECO) – 2 Years
Designed for Diploma students, this program includes computer fundamentals, Microsoft Office applications, internet browsing, email usage, basic web designing using HTML, and core concepts of Information Technology, strengthening their ability to manage digital tasks effectively.

Diploma in Computer Application – 3 Years
Offered to Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Theology students, this comprehensive course covers fundamentals of computers, Microsoft Office tools, internet and email usage, HTML web designing, Information Technology concepts, C-Programming, and Database Management Systems, preparing students for advanced digital responsibilities.
